Perpetual Emotion Machine, a trance artist from Canada, started out in 1993 writing music under the name EtherReal, using tracking software, such as Triton's Fast Tracker. He was featured on a techno compilation entitled, "Moebius Alpha" in 1996, featuring 2 of his original tracks. He has also done remixes for local Hamilton, Ontario industrial bands Revenant and OB3LISK, as well a remix of Masters Of Visions "Good Thing" with Tom Gerencser in 1997. In 2005, he adopted the new name Perpetual Emotion Machine and began his current body of work, which is available for purchase on his official website.
