Raised in a red terraced house in Eastern Denmark, Pernille Gunvad grew up surrounded by music, classical theatre and poetry throughout childhood. Upon graduating Gunvad relocated to Copenhagen, where she put together her first demo, which quickly found its way into the hands of an international major label (Virgin Rec.). Unable to come to an agreement regarding the finer points of the contract, Pernille decided to put out her debut album, Fire, on her own label, GoGreatGuns Records in 2005. Fire was released in Denmark, Korea and Canada and brought Pernille around the world. After a long break from the spotlight - but never from the music - Pernille is now ready to pick up where she left off with the album "Doing Right", which is released later in 2010. The first single "Heartbeat" was been playlisted on national Danish Radio and the follow-up "Doing Right" is out now...
