Pere Joan Aldomar (14 ?? - 1543) was a Catalan composer. He was chapel master of the cathedral of Barcelona (1506) and singer of the chapel of Ferdinand the Catholic (1508). Various works and carols are preserved in various songbooks: the Uppsala and the Palace Songbook. Born in Barcelona, he must have been related to the canon Aldomar, buried in the cathedral of Barcelona in 1500. He was appointed singing teacher of the Barcelona see on January 19, 1506 and succeeded the master Bartomeu Rovira, but for a short time, since in the same year an interim master held this position. In 1508 he is documented as the singer of the chapel of Ferdinand the Catholic , as he was named as such on March 1 of the same year. He remained there for less than six months and in the summer of 1509 succeeded the theorist Juan de Espinosa as "music teacher" in the Cathedral of Toledo. He held the post for a year and after that no further information is available about him.
