Peppermoon is a french and fresh pop trio (Iris, Benoit and Pierre), influenced by the best of european and american indie acts (Belle & Sebastian, Sam Phillips, Ron Sexsmith, Ed Harcourt, Aimee Mann, Pink Martini, Tori Amos, Laura Veirs...) International francophile amateurs, esp. in Asia and USA, compare Iris' subtle and sensual rendition to Jane Birkin, Francoise Hardy, Keren Ann, Carla Bruni and Lisa Ekdahl's well exported whispers. They emerged on MySpace by June 2006. Three months later, they had already conquered more than 2500 fans around the world. They played their very first concert in Paris, on July 3rd - which happened to be Iris' 19th birthday.
