Peppermint Parlour was a Welsh indie rock band from Cardiff, with Alan Thompson as singer and songwriter. I saw this band twice at Chapter Arts Center in Cardiff in the late 1980's most likely 88/89. They were a very good live band, lead by a very charismatic singer, who I assume was the writer. I have their cassette 'demo' in my collection . 'Evermore' is a great song and I am so pleased to see it can be heard here (even if finding it is an effort due to the appalling search engine employed by this site).
