Trio with post-rock, punk and jazz connotations, Pentark delivers cathartic rock made of repetitive and stirring bass, powerful drums and screeching guitars. An efficient music with numerous influences (from Codeine to Mono passing by Shellac and Karate), which applies itself to preserve the spontaneous energy of improvised music. In June 2006 Pentark self-produced a 4-titles EP. Pentark will be recording its first LP in February 2008 at the Red House Recordings studio (Steve Albini, Uzeda, June of 44,...) with David Lenci in Italy. Overdubs will be done at the Roystone studio with Stéphane Loup in Zwitzerland. The band is looking for collaborations with labels for licensing deals.
