Born in Esfahan (Iran) in 1977, he started studying Persian radif and playing the tar and setar at a young age with the masters Keyvan Kamran, Mohammad Reza Lotfi and Behrooz Hemmi. He performed in several concerts in Iran.In 2003 he moved to Florence, where he studied composition at the Fiesole School of Music and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. In 2005 he moved to Rome, where he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and worked with the group of traditional Persian music "Sarawan - Drums of Iran" and with various musicians including: Mauro Pagani, Massimo Ranieri, Patty Pravo, Moricone Andrea, Andrea Parodi, Paolo Vivaldi (with whom he released the album "Chador"). In 2006 he founded the group of traditional Persian music "Nava",with which he recorded the CD "Journey in Colour" in 2007. In 2008 he had a role as an actor and musician in the film L'Ultimo Pulcinella", directed by Maurizio Scaparro and starring Massimo Ranieri. In 2009 he once again worked with Maestro Maurizio Scaparro as a musician and actor in the play "Dust in Baghdad", starring Massimo Ranieri and Eleanor Abbagnato. In the same year he founded the group "YAR" (Iran, Italy, India) with Sanjay Kansa Banik and Andrea Piccioni, with whom he recorded the Yar Ensemble CD. He has also worked with Moni Ovadia and the Esquilino Young Orchestra as a teacher of oud and percussion. In 2010 his group Navà released their second CD, Hilat.
