Paypa is the name of two acts. 1.) Is a rapper from Chicago that is part of the Project Mayhem collective. http://www.projectmayhemmusic.com/ 2.) Is a rapper from Moreno Valley, California. In an industry where Hip-Hop acts come and go, Marcus Moody pka PAYPA, is aggressively working to secure his place among the genre’s greats. Originally from Chicago, yet dividing his time back and forth to Moreno Valley aka “Tha Murda”, PAYPA will tell you that he “just kind of fell in the music game.” This doesn’t make his passion for it any less, in fact the opposite occurred. It was his younger brother who had dreams of being a star, but after his passing in 1999 due to lengthy illness, PAYPA’s commitment to music and his brother’s legacy only became stronger.
