Pavlo is partly Irish and partly Ukrainian. Maybe that's what makes him so versatile? The violin, viola, medieval fiddles, he plays almost any instrument with the same virtuosity. He is praised for his style, well known as soloist, chamber musician and concert master. The number of period instrument orchestras he has lead are so many, that it is hard to decided to mention which. The Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra and The Acadamy of Ancient Music are just two of them. He has become one of the most prominent figures in early music, with many recording for BBC, television and several record companies in cluding Naxos.
