Formed in 2008, the band is based around a core duo, with various friends contributing vocals, samples and artwork as and when applicable. In 2011 Pavilion of Squalor began an association with Diadalos Records when the track 'Djinn' was selected for inclusion in the triple CD compilation 'Icaro'. The track 'Entropy UVB76' was selected for the subsequent second compilation 'Icaro II' 'In music the passions enjoy themselves.'
