Artist
Paulo Bragança marked the beginning of new generation of fado singers, which blend the traditional roots of fado with new influences and interpretative style. A distinctive feature is his stage appearance, bare-footed and wearing exquisite costumes, that contrasts with a more formal stage appearance of fado male-singers. Having achieved critical and public acclaim during the 90's, no new work has however been released in recent years. The discography comprises of "Notas Sobre a Alma" (1992), "Amai" (1994), "Mistério do Fado" (1996), and "Lua Semi-Nua" (2001).
