Paulo Barros is a Portuguese guitarist, from Vila Nova de Gaia, best known for having founded the heavy metal band Tarantula in the 1981. As of June 2008, he has also released 3 solo instrumental albums: Vintage (1997) Gemini (2003) K:arma 6 (2007) He played the opening act for Joe Satriani when he visited Portugal to promote the "Musterion of Rock" album, in April 30 and May 1, in Lisboa and Porto.
