Paula Engels (born in September 2005) is a German singer songwriter and pop musician from Berlin. Biography: She grew up in Düsseldorf and and attended the Görres-Gymnasium. She learned to play guitar in primary school and played in various bands throughout her youth. At 14, she took part in the eighth season of the casting show The Voice Kids in 2020. Around the same time she began writing her own songs. She got a lot of attention for her cover version of "emma" by Casper which he reposted on his Instagram story. In late 2023 rapper grim104 released the track "Ende der Nacht" which was also featured on his album. After that, Engels performed as a support act for artists like Tua, Ennio and Provinz. From March 2024 she released her first singles with the label Jive Germany (Sony Music Entertainment) and continued playing many concerts and festivals, including shows at the Reeperbahn Festival and TV Noir. In 2024 and 2025 she released a series of singles. On 26 September 2025 Engels released her debut album "Kommt von Herzen" accompanied by a release tour. She blends pop, indie, and darker electronic tones in a way that never seems calculated. It’s simply the sound she grew into. What stands out is the clarity of her writing, a sense that she means every line she sings.
