Artist
Paul Moravec is an American composer and the Music Department Chair at Adelphi University. He received his B.A. in composition from Harvard University, and his MM and DMA, both in composition also, from Columbia University. Moravec is a graduate of the Lawrenceville School. He received the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for Music for his Tempest Fantasy, scored for clarinet, violin, violoncello, and piano, written for the Trio Solisti (David Krakauer) who premiered the composition on May 2, 2003 at the Morgan Library in New York City.
