Born in NZ in the 50's - older sisters and musical dad and mum bring music to the household - often round a piano but also on the Bell gramaphone mono 12" and Studebaker valve radio. Roy Orbison Only The Lonely strikes a chord at an early age. Taken to London with family in 1966. Fall asleep with transistor radio under pillow tuned to Radio Caroline and other pirate stations. T-chest bass traded for a Maranucchi semi acoustic. First band - with Jay Clarkson (1 gig) then Basket Cases (aka Detroit Haemorroids) then Toy Love, Playthings, The Bats and Minisnap. Produces videos and recordings and manages the band .. still going strong in 2009 .. 16 years as Orientation Co-ord at Canterbury Uni - day jobs still subsidise creative career..
