Paul Benjamin was born in Canada, raised in India, lived in Japan and has received a solid musical education from experiences in Cuba, New York and Los Angeles as well as earning a jazz/contemporary diploma from one of the most respected music colleges in western Canada. A student of some of the most amazing drum set artists of our times he is a true artist and performer in every sense. What makes Paul stand out is not only the fact that he is a world-class drummer but he has a gift for drawing people in with his voice and his stage presence. Performing in a plethora of settings, Paul has performed in China, Japan, Dubai and India, continuing to inspire people wherever his music takes him. A true multi-cultural experience, his incredibly high energy shows are marked with an intense percussive and dance theme with two drum-sets on stage and a myriad of percussion instruments.
