This line lifted from prophet Isaiah and placed as the first line in Paul Anleitner's song "Isaiah", represents the driving force deeply embedded in all the music the Minneapolis/St. Paul based songwriter creates. His guitar driven music is designed with every intention of being about an experience far beyond what mere music can provide. The sonic landscape created facilitates an environment of open and raw heart-to-heart dialogue with God. In that place of dialogue, people realize the nearness of God to them, they are set free in their identity as son or daughter of God, and feel empowered to love the world around them in the same ways Jesus demonstrated God's love for the world. It was during college that Paul realized his calling to help people experience the Spirit of God through song and teaching. After his freshman year, he gave up his basketball scholarship to begin His journey with God in ministry. It lead him through ups and downs, victories and disappointments, moments of running hard and moments of running away; leading worship, church planting, training to be a pastor, and finishing his degree to become a teacher. In 2006, He married the girl of his dreams, moved to Minnesota and began getting involved with cross-denominational gatherings of worship and prayer both locally and nationally. He served as regional director for an international worship and prayer ministry and traveled all over the
