Paul Albert Anka OC (born July 30, 1941) is a Canadian and American singer, songwriter, and actor. His best-known songs include "Diana", "You Are My Destiny", "Lonely Boy", "Put Your Head on My Shoulder", "(You're) Having My Baby", and "My Way". Anka has also written music for other performers and productions. He composed the theme for "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson", wrote one of Tom Jones' major hits, "She's a Lady", and provided the English lyrics to Claude François and Jacques Revaux's composition for Frank Sinatra's signature song "My Way", which has been recorded by numerous artists including Elvis Presley. Additionally, he co-wrote three songs with Michael Jackson: "This Is It" (originally titled "I Never Heard"), "Love Never Felt So Good", and "Don't Matter to Me", which were released posthumously for Jackson in 2009, 2014, and 2018, respectively.
