Pathological Lovers was formed in 2006 in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. The band's debut album, Calling All Favours, was released in 2010, followed by We Can't Even Lose in 2014. The band consists of Jody Richardson on vocals and guitar, Grant King on keyboards and guitar, David Rowe on bass and banjo and Alex Pierson on drums.
