:[particle_son]: is :[vex_march]: (vox) :[jared_scott]: (keyboards, programming, trash cans) :[sandi_leeper]: (live keyboards) :[particle_son]: began in the desert of California around November 1996. Founding member Jared Scott began writing instrumental industrial/techno, and quickly completed 2 albums, 'The Great Pushover' (1997) and 'Unfiltered' (1997) Due to requests for live shows, Jared brought aboard Dave Lash and Joe Williamson to sing and play guitar. Soon after, they completed their third release, the 'It's No Use EP'(1998). After a short spell of shows, Jared split the band up in 1999 and moved to Southern Oregon and began to pursue other musical ventures. In 2000, Jared revived the project, But lacked a singer and guitarist. Enter Nathan Malin (guitars) and Vex March (vocals). With a little work and lots of alcohol, :[particle_son]: unofficially released the "Bleeding Pain EP" (2001). In 2003, :[particle_son]: started work on a new album, and in 2004, 'Re:Version' was released. 2006 saw the unfortunate loss of long time friend and guitarist, Nathan Malin. Soon after, Glitch106, from the Invisible Records band Railer, joined. Between 2006 and 2007, :[particle_son]: played many shows and released a cover of Skinny Puppy's 'Tormentor'. Due to various dysfunctions and tribulations, 2008 saw the death of the band only to be reborn, minus Gl!tch 106, in late 2010 becoming a duo of Jared and Vex. The band is also happy to report the addition of the first new
