Paradoks was created by the group of musicians around Paide (Estonia) in 1979. They started creating their own music which in the then was mainly Hard Rock. In 1980 they completed their lineup (see below) and started playing more heavy rock music. Bands has 3 most recognized hit songs: "Ära möödu must lähedalt", "Võlg" and "Vaikus". They toured all over Estonia, Finland and then Soviet Union. They stopped 1989 until 1996 to record a MC "Ära möödu must lähedalt" which includes their earlier works from the 80s and newer songs from the 90s. They quit in 2002 after releasing 3 new songs. In 2010, their 30 year anniversary, they are back touring in Estonia.
