Paperflower is a indie-rock band from Cave Creek, Arizona, and they love playing covers at local events. They started when a group of four highschoolers created a group called the Sock Monkees, and after some events and changes to the band lineup, they settled on a new look and new name: Paperflower. Comprised of Zack, the lead vocalist and guitarist; Gabe, the lead guitarist and backup vocalist; Sophia, the bassist; and Dan, the drummer; Paperflower has been surprising audiences all around Phoenix with their talent and excitement. As of July 6th, Paperflower released their debut album "Looking to Grow" featuring 9 total tracks and coming in at 43:03. The album was completely recorded by Paperflower and mixed and mastered by Zack Burr with help from the band in his bedroom. The album is a significant display of their identity as well as resourcefulness. Both faster and slower songs are covered, with acoustic guitar and ukulele being used to accentuate the band's indie style. Recently, the band released a single titled "Around the Sun" as a precursor to their upcoming album.
