Paper Sailboat is the nom de plume of Christopher Paine, a postmodern musician whose symphonic work contains echoes of IDM, German electronica, and industrial. (From the artist: As yet, I don't have a professionally written document outlining the artistic and intrinsic merits of my music. I can only provide you an honest assessment, even if it is a little biased. I spend months, even years working on capturing sounds as delicately and as boldly as possible, and I use little more than my computer for most of it. While not formally trained, the years spent trying to understand composition, mixing and atmosphere have allowed for a progressively more professional sound to develop.
