There are two bands called Paper Pilotes. One is a short lived indie rock side project formed by Flying Kittens guitarist Jeffrey Tuyay and Flying Kittens singer Samuel Claytor out of the ashes of their former bands demise, the band produced only a couple singles, such as "Baby Cookie" and "A Hymn to Hum on Your Death Bed", however the Paper Pilots project served to further strengthen the musical bond between Jeffrey and Samuel. The second is a small band from Stavanger, Norway. It is lead by Bård Gundersen and with him he has numerous other artists. The first album, Concrete Wildlife, came out december 23 2011 on his own label Folded Music. The musicians on the record is Øystein Kristoffersen Hansen - Vocals and backup Bård Gundersen - Guitar, piano and Wurlitzer Asle Ystanes Fjeldstad - Drummer and percussion Simen Ytre Arne- Bass Kine Rostøl Ottesen - Violin Stina Kjelstad - Vocals on "Emma" and backup vocals Thomas Lønning - Sample on "Hidden track" Paper girl Storyteller Onwards to living Turning Point A rudder and a sail Electric cowboy Emma Concrete Wildlife. The record have also been remixed by John Derek Bishop. Bård Gundersen have preformed live as Paper Pilotes in many different configurations of musicians.
