Artist
Paolo Di Cioccio (born 1963 in Rome) is a oboist and composer. He has studied at St. Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, oboe, composing and electronic music. His music has played for important Italian Festivals and recorded by RAI and ordered by international competitions; has founded with Enrico Cosimi in 1994 Theatrum Chemicum, an experimental electro-acoustic group with two albums released by Musica Maxima Magnetica. He has given concerts as soloist in many festivals (Festspiel Berlin, Musica Verticale ect); many composers have written works for him (Bortolozzi, Brizzi, Lupone, Marocchini, Scogna). He played in orchestras (RAI Symphonic Orchestra of Rome, Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese) under direction of Von Karajan, Inbal, Aprea, Koenig, Neuhold ect. Has recorded numerous works of classical and avant-garde music for BMG-Ariola, Edipan, Joker. Actually he his professor of oboe in 'Fausto Torrefranca' Conservatory in Vibo Valentia. His music is a constant alliance with the esoteric and magical research, from Masonic studies to Kabbalistic experiments.
