Based in Bristol and other parts of Somerset, PANIC NUMBER have evolved over a long period of time (they were in school together) with many interesting twists and turns on the way. Three of the members of the band were previously in SUBMATRIX, who achieved national radio play and clocked up supports to The Cooper Temple Clause, The 45's, Halo and Kosheen. Panic Number have now brought together their diverse tastes, noise and crafted guitars in their new album 'From The Low' which they have recorded, produced and mixed in their own Bristol based studio. Lyrically this is an album about growing up and dealing with life's trials whilst presenting an upbeat way to survive and get through it all....... Their influences are varied and include Bjork, The Cooper Temple Clause, Radiohead, Muse and New Order and the band has recently supported Warren Suicide on their UK tour. In addition to playing live sessions for BBC Radio Bristol and BBC Somerset Sound, they have been selected for the Kerrang! Radio Festival at The Fly in London on 10th September.
