Painfield is a three men hardcore band from Gothenburg, Sweden. The band was born in 1997 with Cain on vocals/guitars, Gabbe on the bass, and Engberg on drums. In 2003 Painfield released the debutalbum called "This Time" trough Good Head. There was 12 songs on "This Time", and one funny "scat version" of the track "Zero" as a secret track. In mid-07 Painfield got back the rights for "This Time" from Good Head, and Painfield decided to give it back to their fans for free trough their website. And together with "This Time" the fans could download the extra tracks called "The United Retakes", 8 tracks that didn't make it to "This Time" or as a teaser for what to come on their next album.
