Self-described as "Curly-Tailed Acoustic Mud-Drenched Irish Music", Paddy's Pig are a "mostly" traditional style Irish pub band from the Los Angeles, CA area. They play traditional Irish songs and ballads of drinking, relationships and war, along with a few jigs and reels thrown in for good measure. They do it all with an offbeat approach (they are "curly-tailed", after all), a little bit of humor and a lot of fun and energy. Paddy's Pig utilize traditional Irish instruments as well as less conventional ones, like a bass made out of a washtub.
