Artist
Antti Paavali Jumppanen (born on 17th July 1974 in Espoo) is a pianist and the winner of the Maj Lind piano contest 1994. On August 2005 he started as a piano and chamber music teacher in Espoo Music Academy. Jumppanen has studied in Sibelius Academy and on 1997–2000 led by Krystian Zimerman in Basel Music Academy where he completed a soloist diploma. He's also lived in Paris. Jumppanen has played solo concerts and performes as a soloist with many orchestras in Europe, North America, Japan and Australia. He made his first record for Deutsche Grammophon. During years2004–2005 Jumppanen worked as an art director of the Lemi-Lappeenranta Musicfestivals.
