PAIN(t)bynumbers is a dynamic indie-rock collective hailing from the small town of Bay Village, Ohio. They formed in early 2006 in response to the Belo-Russian achievements in the Torino Winter Olympics. Their songs often feature Wikipedia articles embellished by lyricist Fargo North Dakota. The lineup of the band is constantly chaning, but the three static members are: Johannen Riktolask - Guitar Gojan Bolenski - Saxophone, Vocals Fargo North Dakota - Percussion, Vocals They recorded an album in 2006 entitled "are we recording?" featuring eleven songs, and after a tour supporting this album, went on hiatus. In December of 2006 they reformed and are currently at work on their sophomore album, tentatively titled "we are recording," due out in 2007 on Unsigned Records.
