Purpur Spytt (Charlotte Mermoud of The Staches, Maraudeur, Fatgal) is Norwegian, but she would love to be American. Purpur Spytt is also the name of a strange and satirical project which takes the shape of a post-punk no wave one-woman band with schizophrenic tendency. A bassline, a few guitar-ish harmonies, an eighties synth, a drum machine hidden in the loop pedals and two voices for the price of one.
