PRTY H3RO is a hip-pop-dance-rock trio formed and based in Toronto, but all members are originally from Vancouver: Natasha Zimbaro, vocals Dizzy Overhill, rapper Mark Luongo, musical mastermind A mutual friend connected Zimbaro with Overhill in 2012 shortly after he and Luongo had moved to Toronto. “The connection was immediate,” recalls Overhill.”After a few Facebook messages and recording a handful of demos PRTY H3RO were formed.” The group’s debut single, Life Of The Party, is being released via Sony Music Canada on July 15, 2013. “It’s about the pressure you place on yourself or the expectations placed on you by others to be the centre of attention,” explains Luongo. While the PRTY H3RO sound might be on the playful side, Overhill and Luongo are both classically trained on piano. Luongo also plays bass, guitar, piano and the ukulele.
