Poltva Sharks was formed in Lviv, Ukraine, in 2013 as hard rock trio by Vlad Mastikash (drums), Yuriy Matkovskiy (bass), and Dmitriy Varenik (guitar, vocals). After the first demo and several local gigs, Dmitriy has returned to his native city, Rivne, and the rhythm-section started auditions for new blood. With the new guitarist Vlad Skidin, the band quickly recovered with new material and female vocalist Fosco Culto. The band did a lot of local gigs and has recorded two songs "Your Life" and "Determined" as a single. The second guitarist Alex GTX joined the band and Poltva Sharks start recording process for full length album "The Endless Roller Coaster". Shortly after, one of the former musicians, Yuriy Matkovskiy, retired for rehabilitation due to a car incident. As a result, the bass tracks were recorded by band mates Mikhail Salo (8 tracks), and Oleh Bilozir (2 tracks), and Nazar Danchyshyn (1 track). During the recording sessions Fosco Culto leaves the band to move on to another country, Alex was replaced by Nazar Danchyshyn and soon enough Pavel Gavrilyuk-Levitskiy became the new voice of the band, with Yurii Riabchuk joining in on bass. The current line-up of Poltva Sharks features: Pavel Gavrilyuk-Levitskiy (vocals); Vlad Skidin (guitar); Nazar Danchyshyn (guitar); Yurii Riabchuk (bass); Vlad Mastikash (drums).
