Artist
Hotline was an Afro-pop outfit that performed in Johannesburg South Africa in the 1980's. They, with others, re-popularized the cross-over township jive music, amongst a westernized audience. Hotline featured PJ (Penelope Jane) Powers on vocals, George van Dyk on bass guitar, Alistair J Coakley on lead guitar, drums and keyboards. Hotline disbanded in 1987.
