PG3 is a trio of classical guitarists from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, formed in 2009. Members are former classmates from the university Gino Aguas, Christian Castro, and Edmer Peralta. They are all members of University of the Philippines Guitar Orchestra (UPGO), which is a renowned group presently conducted by Prof. Lester Demetillo. As students, they had been under the tutelage of maestros: Lester Demetillo for Gino; Jose Valdez for Christian; and Nathan Manimtim for Edmer. In January 2010, they have recorded and released their first album entitled Bach to Gershwin consisting of classical tracks from the baroque up to the modern jazz period.
