Partyzanai 1997, “We were the two raving teenagers living in Kaunas (the city of Detroit in Lithuania as they say) going to same parties, sharing same taste for electronic music, knowing same people. It was at a home party that Mantas and I met each other sharing a few beers and general thoughts about music”.Gvidas says. Then, he suggested to Mantas the idea of spinning decks together and seemed to make sense straight away.”Warriors of Detroit techno, legendary Acid House heroes seemed to be an ongoing topic since the day we met. And it still is.., of course you have to make an effort changing it for the sake of other people around you. Otherwise you’d be plain boring, or misunderstood.” – say Partyzanai. Rave parties and electronic music with no limit was the mark of new underground generation. “I remember staying up very late every weekend just to watch Haus Frau, later named Berlin House show on Viva TV channel. Even though I couldn’t understand a word in german, it was really entertaining watching names like Carl Craig or Michael Mayer spinning decks on the show.” - recalls Gvidas.
