At the age of 13 he joined the Tulsa Youth Opera and performed in many off Broadway productions such as Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Aida. P.D.A's (which means Public Display of Afflection) love for music didn't stop there. He developed an instant appreciation for all genres of music.
