American singer/songwriter P. C. Allen (Peter Charles Allen) was born in the very same hospital as Bob Dylan. Finding Duluth a bit too chilly, his family moved south to Madison, Wisconsin, where he was raised on the sounds of Yo La Tengo. While his peers swooned to N'SYNC, the pre-teen Peter buried himself in much too large earphones listening to mixtapes of Low, Elliott Smith, and other Sad Bastards. At the age of 21 Peter had already been an executive manager at WSUM 91.7 FM Madison, published in Emmie Magazine, and a concert organizer for WUD Music. While studying abroad in Netherlands, Peter found his own musical sea-legs, doning the stage name of P.C. and releasing his debute E.P. "One Hand At A Time" recorded by The Cloth Sea’s bassist Drew Ferguson. After weekly gigs at ‘t Oude Pothuys in Utrecht, he moved back home and has started work on a full length that may or may not see the light of day.
