Over Stars and Gutters, formed in late 2007, are a melodic post-punk band from Norman, Oklahoma, which includes ex-members of Third Grade Scuffle, Waldo Young, and I Resign, as well as members of Legs Dead And Well. The band displays strong similarities to Jawbreaker, Hot Water Music, Polar Bear Club, and early Alkaline Trio. Their first demo was released in April 2008, and includes guest vocals from Broadway Calls. In June of 2009, the band self-released their first full length album "Consider This Your Curse", recorded and produced by Stephen Egerton (Descendents, ALL) at Armstrong Studios. The release was followed shortly by their first tour. In September 2009 it was announced that the band will be releasing a split with the band Virgins on cassette via upstart label Shouting Street Audio Cassettes.
