In a world full of so many failing efforts, it’s hard to conceive a purpose that we may fulfill in life; but in this wake of Disaster, OUTSIDE the CAMP provides an answer to what that purpose may be for us today: selflessness. In January of 2010, OTC brings to the musical atmosphere a concept EP that focus’ on the life of an ordinary man in the 1800’s who is transformed by a voyage he embarks upon in search for self-indulging materialistic comforts. As he searches far and wide through many trials, in the end he finds that satisfaction and fulfillment in life requires just the opposite of what we may believe to be true today. In 2009, a group of four men were convicted with the same passion of blending melodies and heavy music that would mean so much more to people than just catchy words about meaningless topics. Thus, OUTSIDE the CAMP was born with a mission to provide everyone who has the opportunity to hear their music with songs that may positively influence them in times of need. “One of the reasons I love being a part of this group is that we have the ability with the technology of this day to reach out to people across the world and say, ‘hey, I know things may seem rough, but there is a purpose for you in this life that is far beyond what we can fathom, so stay strong” admits the drummer Casey Baggz.
