Our Lady Peace (sometimes shortened to OLP) is a Canadian alternative rock band formed in Toronto, Ontario in 1992. The group has been led since its formation by vocalist Raine Maida and currently includes Duncan Coutts on bass, Steve Mazur on guitars, and Jason Pierce on drums. The band has sold several million albums worldwide and has received four Juno Awards and ten MuchMusic Video Awards, tying with Billy Talent for the most awards received by a band at that ceremony. Nineteen of their singles have reached the top ten on at least one Canadian singles chart, including the national Singles Chart, the Rock Chart, and the Alternative Rock Chart. Between 1996 and 2016, Our Lady Peace were the third best-selling Canadian band and the ninth best-selling Canadian recording artist overall in Canada. Our Lady Peace have released ten studio albums, one live album, and two compilation albums. Their debut album "Naveed" (1994) was certified quadruple platinum in Canada. It included the single "Starseed", which reached the top ten on both the US Mainstream Rock and Alternative Airplay charts, and the title track "Naveed", which reached number four on the Canadian Alternative Rock Chart. Their second album "Clumsy" (1997) reached number one in Canada and was certified diamond in that country.
