Originally formed in Seattle in the summer of 2004, Otisburg draws from a wide array of influences including such bands ranging from the Descendents to Weezer. They strike an unusually positive chord in today's melodramatic musical landscape. Musically, they are characterized by humorous, meaningful and often ironic lyrics, straight-forward and no frills vocal delivery and power-chord laden guitar riffs reminiscent of punk but sometimes branching out at times. This frequently quirky band-of-its-own is sometimes punk, sometimes indie rock, sometimes power pop but is best described as just being themselves and are guaranteed to consistently entertain and inspire alike.
