Artist
Oskarova Fobija (Oscar's Phobia) is an Eastern European synth-pop band formed in spring of 1983 in Belgrade (The Capital of Serbia) by Dejan Novčić. He had broken up his first (new-wave) band Klinička Smrt in which he played fender-bass, composed and wrote lyrics. He wanted to try something new. With Maja Atanasijević as a vocal soloist and himself as anything else, he had made some very interesting demo tapes. The most popular among them was/is Beli Dekolte. Early influences were Yazoo and Eurythmics. Dejan also makes music for film and theater and likes to experiment with other no-vocal electronic forms.
