Chilean Songwriter. Keyboardist and electronic musician. After several sound experiments under the name of Hauyon (just the last name), this author gets back to the “song” path which started in 2001 as main songwriter, keyboardist and singer of theChilean rock-pop band “Polter” (2001-2010), with a solo work intended to save the alternative and electro sounds of the last three decades . Together with Polter, Oscar Hauyon got several private and state funds (Fondart Regional, Fondo GORE, Fondo de la Música Nacional), national level contests ( Rock & pop radio “The song of the summer and the “Sello Azul” contest from the Chilean copyright society ) and they took their music to a big part of Latin America through 9 videos that rotated in MTV, Vía X and other video music networks. The band stopped their activities in May of 2010, after several tours and 2 albums released, “Polter” (Sello Azul, 2005) and “Moderno” (Feria Music, 2008). In 2011, they posthumously edited “3”, a downloadable album through its site www.polter.cl Parallel to his work with Polter, Oscar Hauyon was “invited keyboardist” of bands from Santiago such as “Sónica”, “Lulú Jam” and “De Saloon”. He has made remixes for bands such as “Golem”, “Phono”, “Picnic Kibun” and Makiabella. The first solo project of Oscar Hauyon was the electronic music that accompanied his radio program “Mi primera vez en la Perla” from “La perla del dial” radio, the first radio that only plays Chilean music, in 2008.
