Os Quais are a portuguese band, lead by the duo Jacinto Lucas Pires and Tomás Cunha Ferreira. With lyrics by lead singer Jacinto Lucas Pires and music, with some exceptions, composed by the guitarist Tomás Cunha Ferreira, Os Quais are an alternative rock band that, remaining faithfull to the portuguese music tradition, added it some tropicalismo, having Caetano Veloso between one of their many influences. Having started to play in private circles during the 90s, Os Quais only gave their first concert in 2008. In 2009 they released their first record called "Meio Disco" with the label Amor Fúria.
