Os Fonsecas is a rock band from São Paulo, Brazil, formed by four seasoned musicians involved in various projects of the city's new music scene. Caio Colasante (guitar), Felipe Távora (vocals), Thalin (drums), and Valentim Frateschi came together for the first time in 2019. Since then, they have been exploring the boundaries of Brazilian song with energy and musicality. In 2020, they made their debut with the EP "Fundo da Meia" and are now preparing the ground for their first album with the single "João." Influenced by various musical genres (each member brings something to the table, from 70s rock to samba, from hip hop to the São Paulo avant-garde), the quartet demonstrates vast knowledge in musical composition (two of the members are currently studying music at Unicamp) along with peculiar, laid-back, and intriguing lyrics. This can be evidenced in the EP "Fundo da Meia," but now arrives more consolidated and mature in "Estranho pra Vizinha."
