In 1999, Marcelo Peixoto, Mauritius Peixoto, Daniel Bez and Luciano Postal, friends with the same desire - to mount a group to play the real Rock 'n' Roll - gather in Florianopolis. The idea for the repertoire they had in mind: classics of the golden years as Beatles, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and either side B lost by time. Then born "Os Berbigão". Name that was a tribute to the native language of Florianopolis, also known as the "Manezinho da lha". In a short time, the group was already one of the main attractions of the city's music scene and other artists were coming into their repertoire. Also, the songs of these shellfish were also appearing. The result was the EP "During April," launched in late 2001, containing only compositions of the four boys. The EP was very well accepted by the public. With that, the ideas and compositions not stopped. Until born in 2002 the self-titled "Os Berbigão" with the four songs from the first EP nine more songs unpublished. Along with the new album comes a new integral: Roberto Bez. But by financial problems and bureaucratic the disc was launched only in 2004. Already in 2006, preparing new material, the group write three more songs. One of them, "Inquietação," was one of fifteen classified for the final of the 1 st FEMIC - the Festival of Music and Integration Catarinense.
