Orquestra Pentágono began its activity at the beginning of 1997. The name comes from the fact that five musicians founded this project. On June 20th they would give their first concert and since then they have never stopped. A lot has changed in these 20 to 21 years of career. But there is something unchanging: the love of music, dance, parties and the joy they try to provide in each performance. They travel, year after year, throughout the North and Center of Mainland Portugal with shows. On several occasions, they traveled to communities of Portuguese emigrants (abroad) to bring a little bit of Portugal to those who live far away. In 2017 they entered the prestigious and competitive Spanish orchestra market with several concerts, as well as appearances on Galician television. At this moment, Orquestra Pentágono performs on the mobile stage filled with the best state-of-the-art sound and light technology. There are fifteen members on stage representing the cast of this show that lasts, on average, three hours. Three hours of music and dance, performing arts, animation and lots of emotions. The Pentágono Orchestra has a front of singers and dancers including six members (four female and two male). Guitar, Drums, Bass, Keyboards, Percussion, Concertina/Accordion, Saxophones, Trumpets and Trombone are the instruments that sound on our orchestra's stage.
