'Orphan Fledgling' is the name of the solo recordings of James Finlay. He began writing songs at the age of 15 in 2006 when he teamed up with school friend Brendan Scott and spent many days in the music wing working on a song titled 'The Cold Wind'. Finlay decided to continue recording songs he had written as he had done in the past to show other band members what he had in mind outside practices. He is currently in the process of recording demo's for his upcoming release currently under the working title of 'The Orphan Fledgling E.P.' however, there is a possibility that this may gain yet more tracks and become an album.
