Band members Dave, Matt n James make up Ori-Tsu (which stands for Origami Tsunami). Pre Ori-Tsu Throughout the year 2008; Dave, Matt & James played in a band called Alphabet Soup with their friend Amy. But due to musical differences they separated ways in March 2009. Their last show was on March 4th 09 where they performed in front of a large audience and a panel of two judges for a school competition. The panel of judges, consisting of actress/comedien Nina Wadia (of eastenders fame) and an ITV news presenter of the time, awarded the band first place in the music catagory for their immense stage presence and their general performance. The Formation of Ori-Tsu But sadly, Alphabet Soup was not to be. Not long after their success in their school comp, A-soup ceased to exist. But Matt, James and Dave refused to admit defeat in their quest for stardom. They went through a period of trying out different drummers as they had a gig lined up that summer. They had the option of using one of the organisers of the event as their drummer for the gig, he was rather good. So, they put on pause (still so as of August 2009) their search for a drummer, at least until after their gig.
